Acronym: YMHA
The project involves three partners from Poland (1), Lithuania (1), Denmark (1). The partnership is composed of local and state government units dealing with supporting families and youth and a municipality. The partners are not supported by any associated partner. The project is led by Municipal Family Support Center (PL).
The overall project objective is to search for new solutions to strengthen the mental health of young people based on coalitions of international cooperation and coalitions of local stakeholders at the national level.
The project’s activities start with common workshops/meetings organized in order to harmonize the knowledge on basic issues related to mental health and challenges in this area as well as on finding the way how to involve local authorities and youth. Partners also plan to prepare a booklet on how the system of supporting youth in mental crisis looks in partnership countries. Finally, organization of study visits in each partnership country in order to compare different models of mental health support, that can be inspiring for other partners.
