The project involves three partners from Sweden (1), Poland (1) and Denmark (1). The partnership is composed of an NGO, municipality and waste management authority. The partners are supported by three associated partners which are NGOs from Sweden, Poland and Denmark. The project is led by Sustainable Development Scania (SE).
The overall project objective is to strengthen cross-border collaboration both before and during crises by sharing knowledge and insight on different crisis preparedness approaches in different countries among organizations educating citizens on crisis preparedness.
The project’s activities include joint efforts among project partners to get a minimum of 15 new organisations in the South Baltic Area to sign the “handshake agreement” and join the PrepAlliance network. Following actions focus on networking to showcase best practices on preparedness education taught to citizens in different countries. Further steps will aim at promoting the findings of the project and ensuring the functioning of the network beyond the project lifetime.
