Acronym: Mental and Sustainable Mindscapes
The project involves 3 partners from Poland (2) and Lithuania (1). The partnership is composed of an association of local governments, an NGO and a tourist organisation. The partners are supported by 7 associated partners which are associations, a local authority, a governmental organisation, an information centre and a national park from Poland and Lithuania. The project is led by the Polish Union of Active Mobility (PUMA) (PL).
The overall project objective is to improve mental and sustainable tourism offers and facilities and to promote this form of tourism amongst societies of the SB Region countries.
The project’s activities include the conduct of an analysis of the current situation and best practices, the identification of key evaluation criteria and methodology for the sustainable tourism certification program, promotional campaigns, conferences, and multimedia courses for target groups, the creation of a self-evaluation tool, and the certification of at least 10 sustainable and mental tourism operators.
The main target groups are tourism operators and facilities, filed NGOs, local and public administrations, decision makers, industry media and influencers.
