The future project is aiming at support the ship and boat building sector in the South Baltic area in adaptation to electric maritime mobility, creating related products and better utilizing the market potential for electric boats and ships within the region. The expected result is utilizing the innovation of electric drive systems for boats and ships as well as for entering new markets, developing pilots for new maritime e-mobility applications and transferring solutions for retrofitting boats and ships for the benefit of maritime sector SMEs. The following measures are planned:
- market exploration and market research;
- inducing innovative ship and boat designs adapted to electric engines;
- cross-border cluster building, networking and business matchmaking for electric maritime mobility;
- joint market development and marketing.
