The project’s activities are divided into four work packages. Besides management and coordination (WP1), the project plans to analyse the capacity and needs in the South Baltic Area in the field of energy transition and based on the results – to develop the digital tool for mapping and prioritizing energy transition of seaport related activities. Then draft and pilot test the Port Energy Transition Strategy (WP2). Next, in the work package 3 the partnership plans the development of green fuels value chain. In this framework it proposes to implement brainstorming and study visits, develop factsheets and prepare the Scenario Model for Seaports Value Chain of Green Fuels. WP4 is dedicated to implement popularisation measures that include promotional campaign, knowledge exchange, trainings and capacity building of stakeholders.
The main target groups are port stakeholders (e.g. port authorities, terminals, stevedores, transport companies), regional and local authorities, energy companies including offshore wind and blue energy developers, industry representatives, universities and research institutions, representatives of related projects, NGOs, start-ups & local innovators, policy-makers and logistics & transport operators.
