Overview: The project supports municipal utilities and local authorities in the South Baltic area to adopt circular approaches that increase resource efficiency and promote reuse of materials within municipal service supply chains.
Key Objectives: The project aims to build capacity for circular municipal services by compiling practical solutions, developing educational curricula and mentoring, and testing technical and organisational pilots that demonstrate reuse and resource-efficient practices.
Main Activities: Activities include establishing a South Baltic Knowledge Hub with an open catalogue of case studies and modular curricula, creating an international network of circular economy experts, planning and implementing pilot solutions for circular service provision, and delivering education, mentoring and cross‑border workshops for practitioners and decision‑makers.
Impact: The project improves the resource efficiency and sustainability of municipal services in smaller cities and rural areas, strengthens local capacity to implement circular solutions, and fosters knowledge exchange that enables wider replication across the South Baltic area.
