The overall project objective is to empower farmers, local authorities and civil-society actors in the South Baltic Region to cooperate, learn and build capacity together through practical engagement with sustainable biochar and circular-economy solutions.
The project’s activities start with mapping, learning-needs assessment, training preparation and mentoring, responds and identifying cooperation barriers among small local actors, civil society and municipalities. Next, the project plans to organise learning visits, peer-to-peer exchanges and Community Challenge Labs. Finally, the establishment of the Biochar SBR Network for permanent cooperation is planned.
