Overview: The BIOCHAR4SBR project empowers farmers, local authorities and civil‑society actors in the South Baltic area to cooperate, learn and build capacity through practical engagement with sustainable biochar and circular‑economy solutions.
Key objectives: Strengthen local cooperation on biochar and circular practices, address learning needs and cooperation barriers among small actors, and create lasting networks for joint action.
Main activities: Map stakeholders and assess learning needs; prepare trainings, mentoring and peer‑to‑peer exchanges; run learning visits and Community Challenge Labs; and establish the Biochar SBR Network for ongoing cooperation.
Impact: Improved local capacities for sustainable biochar use and circular practices, stronger cross‑sector cooperation, practical local solutions to soil and waste challenges, and a durable regional network for knowledge exchange across the South Baltic area.
