Helping universities and SMEs work together to share knowledge and use digital innovations like AI and cybersecurity in various industries.

Overview:

The AIKnowIT project brings together universities and small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to create a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The focus is on applying digital innovations, like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, across various industries.

Key Objectives:

The aim of the AIKnowIT project is to strengthen the connection between academia and business by developing a toolkit that includes a research collaboration platform for joint projects and an online space for industry experts and academics to share ideas and best practices.

Main Activities:

The project begins with workshops and surveys to identify the needs of participants, which will guide the development of the platform.

Impact:

By fostering cooperation between academia and business, the project promotes innovation and mutual benefit. It encourages activities like internships, mentoring programmes, and collaborative research, helping SMEs identify useful Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
