The project involves six partners from Sweden (2), Lithuania (2) and Poland (2). The partnership is composed of local authorities, and bodies governed by universities. The partners are supported by one associated partner which are local authority from Poland. The project is led by Alvesta Municipality (SE).
The overall project objective is to strengthen the capacity of local actors to collaborate both at local and cross-border level in the South Baltic Area under the topic of low-carbon lifestyle.
The project’s activities include establishing citizen-led action groups for knowledge exchange that create action plans for lowering the carbon footprint in the daily life of households and communities. The action plans will be implemented in small-scale pilot actions, the results will be described and disseminated in the evaluation and closure actions.
