The project involves eight partners from Poland (3), Germany (2), Denmark (1), Sweden (1) and Lithuania
(1). The partnership is composed of a research institute, museums, universities, NGO and SMEs. The partners
are supported by eleven associated partners which are museums, SMEs, NGOs, DMOs from Lithuania,
Germany, Denmark and Poland. The project is led by the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute (PL).
The overall project objective is to develop innovative solutions based on current research, as well as
develop physical and digital tools, including those AI-based, to enhance museum accessibility and inclusivity
for persons with disabilities.
The project’s activities start with research on accessibility needs in project partners’ countries and examine
existing assistive technologies and accessibility solutions. The outcome of analysis will be used in next work
package that focuses on the cross-border development of digital and physical tools that aims to enhance
accessibility and inclusivity in tourist attractions for people with disabilities. In the subsequent phase, the
partners will concentrate on testing, validating and refining these solutions. The project will conclude with
the implementation and promotion of the developed and validated through prior efforts solutions.
