The project involves six partners from Sweden (2), Lithuania (2), Denmark (1) and Poland (1). The
partnership is composed of universities, municipalities and NGOs. The partners are supported by five
associated partners which are municipalities, NGOs, public tourist centres from Sweden, Lithuania, Denmark,
Poland and Germany. The project is led by Municipality of Landskrona (SE).
The overall project objective is to establish the South Baltic Area as a sustainable workation destination by
integrating remote work with tourism, cultural heritage and digital services, reducing seasonality and
supporting local economies through long-term visitor engagement.
The project’s activities are defined in three content-related work packages starting with development of
Workation Friendly Infrastructure and Service including mapping existing infrastructure and identifying gaps
as well as creating Sustainable Workation Service Packages. The next strand of actions is dedicated to
capacity building for local stakeholders and businesses. In the last phase partners focus on promotion and
regional positioning.
