Acronym: DigclimAct

Helping raise climate awareness and promote eco-friendly actions among South Baltic citizens through digital strategies and collaboration.

Overview:
The DigiClimAct project aims to create a digital strategy to raise awareness about climate change among South Baltic citizens, encouraging eco-friendly behaviours and enhancing their ability to adapt to climate impacts.

Key Objectives:
The project focuses on increasing climate awareness and promoting environmental stewardship through digital innovation, aiming to equip citizens and communities with the capacity for effective climate adaptation.

Main Activities:
The project begins with management and coordination efforts, followed by the Climate Change Awareness Digitisation phase, involving collaborative digital content creation. A Youth Climate Activist Boot-camp will establish a network of young climate ambassadors. Subsequent Local Collaborative Workshops will test digital solutions in the project regions, and dissemination activities will provide ready-to-use scenarios to stakeholders.

Impact:
By targeting municipalities, local NGOs, educational institutions, activists, the IT sector, and SMEs, the project seeks to foster collaboration between academia and business, encouraging knowledge exchange and digital innovation to collectively address climate challenges in the South Baltic area.
