CALL LAUNCHING
The 4th call for regular projects and the 2nd Small-scale projects call of the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 are open between 5th November 2024 - 4th February 2025.
The 4th call for regular projects is open in Programme Measures 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1 and 4.1. For the call, additional call specific requirements have been defined on indicators in Programme Measures 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 and on the partnership in Programme Measure 4.1. You can find these requirements in the Call announcement that, together with other parts of the Application Pack, is available in the section https://southbaltic.eu/4th-call-for-proposals
The 2nd Small-scale projects call is open in Programme Measure 4.1. For the call, additional call specific requirements have been defined on the project partnership that you can find in the Terms of Reference, which, together with other parts of the Application Pack, is available in the section https://southbaltic.eu/2nd-small-scale-call-for-proposals
Not complying with call specific requirements will result in rejection of the project within the scope of Admissibility and Eligibility checks. To support projects eliminating the most severe errors that potentially would lead to rejection of the project, a checklist has been prepared for project developers. In order to support projects in complying with requirements on project partnership in Programme Measure 4.1, a list of organisations not considered as newcomers is available here.
PARTNER SEARCH FORUM
Search for new partnerships – this time on the physical event in Gdansk! We welcome potential applicants, stakeholders and experts that are seeking new partnerships and want to establish cross-border cooperation. Join us if:
- You have the project idea and are looking for relevant partners. You will have the chance to briefly present your project idea (preferably a PowerPoint presentation).
- You don’t have the plan yet, but you have expertise and can contribute to other project ideas. You can get in touch with project idea owners and get involved in discussions in thematic groups.
Also, at this event we will not only give you the floor to look for partners, but the Joint Secretariat staff will also introduce the calls for proposals, the Programme current priorities, its specific rules, and provide guidelines on how to submit the application.
We are waiting for you on 3rd December 2024 at the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Augustyńskiego 1, Gdańsk, Poland.
The registration is open till the 25th of November via this link. The draft agenda is available here.

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS OF PROJECT IDEAS
The Joint Secretariat and Contact Points will provide a series of individual consultations to discuss your project ideas. Consultations will be organised in two rounds. The regional consultations that will be implemented between the end of November and the middle of December 2024 will focus on strategic topics, i.e., project relevance, cross-border character, intervention logic, and partnership. Regional consultations will be organised online or on-site in the Programme regions. The form of the meeting is defined by the respective Contact Points.
As a second step, consultations will be organised by the Joint Secretariat online or in the JS office, depending on the decision of the lead partner. These consultations will be implemented in January 2025.
At this point we open the registration for the first round of consultations that will be organised on the following dates and venues:
- 25 November, online for Swedish lead partners;
- 27 November, online for Danish lead partners;
- 28 November, in-person for Lithuanian lead partners, Palanga;
- 5 December, in-person for lead partners from the Pomorskie region, Gdańsk;
- 12 December in-person for German lead partners, (exact location will be decided and published until 28th November, probably Greifswald or Rostock);
- 17 December, in-person for lead partners from the Zachodniopomorskie region, Szczecin;
- 19 December, in-person for lead partners from the Warmińsko-Mazurskie region, Olsztyn.
After registering for the consultation, one will be requested to send a project concept template to the JS five days before the date of the consultation. The project idea template is available at this link. The lead partner of the project shall take part in the consultations that are conducted in English (further partners can be invited as well). The duration of each individual consultation is up to 1 hour.
As a main rule, the registration for consultations in the JS closes seven calendar days before each date of the consultation. However, due to organisational reasons, the planned on-site consultations will be organised if a sufficient number of project ideas register for the meeting (16 days prior to the planned consultations in countries other than PL and seven days in advance in case of consultations planned in Polish regions).
To register for the individual consultation, click here.
* Please provide your consent to the GDPR rules for the individual consultation that are available here.
In case of questions, please contact the Project Officers of the JS.
