The future regular project objective is to increase the innovation capacity of the South Baltic Foodtech sector giving access to new knowledge and infrastructures which will enable the South Baltic competitiveness with regard to resilient, sustainable, healthy and environmentally friendly food production. The disruptions in supply chains caused by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the ongoing war in Ukraine which has exposed the vulnerability of food production systems caused the price of food to rocket. The project aims at using the potential of creating innovative alternatives in food sector that also takes the environment and health aspects into consideration.
