Life science and welfare technology constitute an emerging common business position of strength in the South Baltic region, health innovation being a regional priority, especially in Skåne (SE), Själland (DK) and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (DE).
The South Baltic region can become a showcase for problem-based innovative healthcare solutions using health data, for the benefit of growth, employment, exports and not least public health and health care throughout the area.
The project addresses a need in the South Baltic area for transferring innovation models and tools to SMEs. Seed Money implements cross-border workshops and meetings to be able to work jointly on the concept paper; build up a partnership for future regular projects; and build a network of interested stakeholders. Actions planned in the Seed Money project are a cross-border transfer of knowledge as well as the exchange of experiences regarding health care data.
