Future ‘BaltGas’ project aims to establish business model for sustainable local biogas solutions. It will address the challenges that hinder the development of self-sufficient biogas solutions, especially transportation of substrates/biomass to the biogass plants, as well as investigating the business opportunities of using the produced gas (either for heat or injected in grid).
The objective is to find structures and models to create incentives for end users to separate and provide substrates for the digestion process and look at local solutions to minimize the transportation costs.
