The 2025 edition of the REGIOSTARS competition has officially launched, offering an exciting platform for innovative projects to gain recognition at the European level. The competition, organised by the European Commission, seeks to showcase exemplary EU cohesion policy projects across five key categories, including ‘A Competitive and Smart Europe’, ‘A Green Europe’, ‘A Connected Europe’, ‘A Social and Inclusive Europe’, and ‘A Europe Closer to Citizens’.
The projects of the Interreg South Baltic Programme have the potential to be strong contenders in the competition and be recognised for their significant contributions and innovative approaches, positioning them well to make an impact on the European stage.
Project leaders are urged to explore the competition rules and consider submitting their applications by the deadline of May 20, 2025. Applications are to be submitted via the EU Survey platform and must include an endorsement letter from the Programme Managing Authority.
This prestigious competition represents a unique opportunity to bring visibility and acclaim to projects that are making tangible impacts in their communities and beyond. The Joint Secretariat is optimistic about the participation of these projects and is looking forward to a strong representation of the South Baltic region in this prestigious event.
