We would like to kindly invite you to the SEAPLANSPACE Final Joint Project Meeting organized as part of the SEAPLANSPACE project - Marine spatial planning instruments for sustainable marine governance, which will be held on October 21-22, 2021 at the University of Gdańsk.
The aim of the meeting is to present the challenges of maritime spatial planning (MSP) for the future in relation to the use of maritime spatial planning instruments for sustainable marine governance in the South Baltic area in the context of strengthening the competences of stakeholders involved in MSP in the blue and green economy, and therefore to present the achievements of the SEAPLANSPACE project.
SEAPLANSPACE Final Joint Project Meeting is planned in a hybrid formula, bearing in mind the prevailing pandemic situation. The meeting will be held in Gdańsk at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Online participation will also be provided via the MS Teams platform.
SEAPLANSPACE project has been implemented since the beginning of 2018 thanks to co-financing from the INTERREG South Baltic Program 2014-2020, and in co-operation with: Aalborg University (Denmark), Center for Regional and Tourism Research (Denmark), County Administrative Board of Kalmar (Sweden), EUCC - The Coastal Union Germany (Germany), EUCC Baltic Office (Lithuania), Maritime Institute of Gdynia Maritime University (Poland) and World Maritime University (Sweden). Associated partners are: Administration of Seaside Region Park (Lithuania), Gdynia Maritime Office (Poland), Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany), Pomeranian Regional Planning Office (Poland). The leader of the SEAPLANSPACE Project is the University of Gdańsk.
