Welcome to Crossroads in History’s Final Conference
On 28-30 September 2021, we invite all CROSSROADS partners and stakeholders to join us and celebrate the final project event. The Final Conference within the Interreg South Baltic Project Crossroad in History is hosted by the Hanseatic City of Wismar-Historic Museum of Wismar. The event will be in a hybrid format, allowing guests who are not able to travel to Wismar due to the ongoing pandemic, to join in digitally.
We hope that you will have a great time and learn more about the benefits of cross-border cooperation and educational learning tools. That you will get new ideas, find new partners for cooperation, and return to your organization thinking: Now it’s time to come together, to start something new.
The project Crossroads in History (CROSSROADS) is a project with support from the EU Interreg South Baltic Programme that aims to create a network of museums and educational institutions from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. The Time Travel Method (TTM) will be used to better understand the challenge of modern society in the region today through a historical perspective and the project will use the method to explore the socioeconomic phenomenon of migration. The aim is to use cultural heritage to create better social cohesion in the south Baltic region today.
The goals of this project are to promote regional identity through the Time Travel Method used by the participating museums. The main results of the project will be the strengthened capacity of all partners and the establishment of a regional network of museums. The project has been running for 2019–2021.
