Celebrating Europe Day with Interreg South Baltic

09.05.2025

As we celebrate Europe Day on the 9th of May, we reflect on the core values that the European Union stands for: unity, peace, and cooperation. Interreg South Baltic exemplifies these principles by fostering cross-border collaboration and sustainable development in the Baltic Sea region.

To date, the Interreg South Baltic Programme has successfully conducted four calls for proposals for regular projects and two for small-scale projects. As a result, 37 regular projects and five small-scale projects have been selected and co-financed, each contributing significantly to regional growth and cooperation.

We are looking forward to sharing the results of the fourth call i the results from the fourth call for proposals in June, as we continue to support projects that enhance connectivity, innovation, and the preservation of our shared resources. These initiatives not only drive development but also reinforce the bonds between communities, embodying the spirit of European unity and solidarity.

On this Europe Day, let’s acknowledge the achievements of our projects and reaffirm our commitment to building a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
