The Interreg South Baltic Programme invites all project beneficiaries to join a webinar exploring how projects can strengthen their contribution to the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).
The webinar will take place on 10 November 2026 at 10:00–12:30 CET.
Remember when, during your project application, you were asked to describe your project’s contribution to the EUSBSR and its Action Plan?
The webinar is an opportunity to revisit that commitment and explore how your project can translate it into practical cooperation and greater impact across the Baltic Sea Region.
Many Interreg South Baltic projects contribute to the EUSBSR Action Plan, yet opportunities for direct engagement with the relevant Policy Areas (PAs) may remain underused. Closer cooperation can help projects increase their visibility, establish connections with relevant stakeholders, identify synergies with other projects and support the capitalisation, transfer and upscaling of their results.
The webinar will explain how projects can engage with the relevant EUSBSR Policy Areas throughout implementation and demonstrate the added value of macro-regional cooperation. Participants will also hear practical examples of successful collaboration between projects and Policy Area Coordinators (PACs).
Representatives of the EUSBSR Strategy Point will introduce participants to the Strategy, followed by a presentation of the Interreg South Baltic Programme’s requirements regarding projects’ contributions to the EUSBSR.
Representatives of the Policy Areas relevant to the South Baltic Programme’s measures — PA Health, PA Ship, PA Energy, PA Hazards, PA Nutri, PA Innovation and PA Tourism — will then introduce their areas of work and engage directly with project representatives in interactive breakout sessions.
These sessions will also give project representatives the opportunity to present their projects to the relevant Policy Area Coordinators.
Join us to explore how your project can strengthen its contribution to the EUSBSR and increase the impact of its results across the Baltic Sea Region.
