Helping SMEs improve competitiveness and sustainability by enhancing digital skills and providing tools for evaluating climate actions.

Overview: The CONSIDERATION project is focused on enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the CONSIDERATION solution. This approach includes support for digitalisation and an inclusive change management strategy that develops skills for both management and staff. It also provides tools for evaluating and reporting on SMEs’ climate actions.

Key Objectives: The project aims to create a Digital Strategy Development Tool and various sub-tools on an open-source platform to assist in developing digital competencies for SMEs. It builds upon insights from the “Digital Pathways to Growth” project in Zealand, Denmark.

Main Activities: The sub-tools target areas such as sustainability evaluation and reporting, business data management and analytics, digital business model development, and skills enhancement. Additionally, didactic principles for digital learning tools are included.

Impact: The project’s collaboration in research and tool development facilitates knowledge transfer, boosting digitalisation and sustainable change. By considering factors like motivation for learning, learning styles, educational levels, and gender, the project offers six tools in English, Danish, German, Polish, Lithuanian, and Swedish. The platform also provides a wide array of learning resources for creating courses and learning activities across these languages.
