Helping smaller regions become more competitive by setting up innovation hubs that support SMEs with funding advice and partnerships to expand their reach.

Overview:
The T.A.B project addresses the challenges faced by smaller regions in their quest to remain competitive and attractive in the global market. It promotes close collaboration among partners to enhance skills, facilitate knowledge transfer, and foster new business partnerships, accelerating digital innovation in the regions. Supporting SMEs is vital, as they are pivotal for economic growth and innovation in the South Baltic area.

Key Objectives: T.A.B explores the role of “Cross-border Innovation Hubs” by assessing the benefits of setting up such hubs and digital networking platforms across the five participating countries.

Main Activities: The hubs provide funding advice and help create strategic partnerships, giving regional innovators the tools and knowledge needed to transition companies from local to cross-border business models through modern innovation processes.

Impact: The project establishes networks within the South Baltic area, linking knowledge-based services and research-intensive partners to build new knowledge and share best practices related to innovation and various innovation models.
