Interact seminar for South Baltic Programme stakeholders

Jointly organised by the Joint Secretariat, Blekinge’s Regional Contact Point and the Interact Office in Turku, the capacity-building seminar on 18-19 February 2016 in Karlskrona served as an opportunity for the staff and stakeholders of the South Baltic Programme 2014-2020 to build a better common understanding on the intervention logic concept for the new programming period. Altogether, 38 South Baltic stakeholders from Denmark, Lithuania, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Poland and Sweden attended the seminar, bringing together the perspectives of the Monitoring Committee, the Managing Authority, the Joint Secretariat and the Contact Points.

Facilitated by Philipp Schwartz from Interact and the team of the JS, the seminar combined introductory presentations on the new legislative framework, the intervention logic concept and the Programme priorities with practical group exercises and joint discussions rounds, thus allowing the participants to apply the theoretical implications for the programming period 2014-2020 to the specific features of the South Baltic Programme.
