Apply for seed funding from the Swedish Institute joint cross-border cooperation between actors from South Baltic can be also financed from the Swedish Institute’s seed funding, which can support preparation of a regular project to the South Baltic Programme.


The applicants can apply for seed money funding regarding activities that contribute to sustainable economic, environmental or social development. The project activities must be clearly linked to one or more of the challenges identified in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.


The Swedish Institute provides seed funding for joint projects in which Swedish organisations meet common challenges in cooperation with organisations from the Baltic Sea Region countries and the EU’s Eastern Partnership countries.


The call will close on 13 February 2018.
